Hong Kong Player Crowned World Mahjong Champion Again

(Macau, September 21, 2008) The second-annual World Series of Mahjong entered final stage today at the Wynn Macau. 32
mahjong players, out of the original 302 contestants from 15 countries, battled in the fifth round this morning. After 12 hours
of four elimination rounds, the world champion was crowned at 10:30pm. Alex Ho Kwok-Hung from Hong Kong became the
new mahjong world champion, while Hong Kong natives Tong Kam-Wing and Lam Ho-Nam settled for the second and third
place respectively, followed by Japanese player Shigeru Aono.

The 34 year-old world champion Alex Ho Kwok-Hung had never thought of winning, and believed that he was just lucky at the
final round. At the sixth round, he was selected by the computer system to play on stage, which made him nervous. Moreover,
as he was not familiar with the automatic mahjong table, he dropped and illegally exposed his tile to the other players when
he was drawing. He then decided to change his strategy and eventually won the “Pure One-Suit” hand worth 420 points. In
the final round, he was originally the last of the top four players, posting a negative score. During the last two hands of the
final round, he beat Japanese player Shigeru Aono, who had been leading in the first few hands of the round. Eventually, Alex
won on discard and became the world champion scoring 180.38 points. He then took home the US$500,000 prize money and
the HK$150,000 champion’s necklace.

First runner-up Tong Kam-Wing, 58 years old, is currently retired. He had been in leading positions throughout the final day of
the tournament. Since childhood he has been playing mahjong and had worked as a taxi driver. Last year, he also participated
in the first World Series and ended up in the 32nd position with US$5,000 prize money. This year, he returned to the
tournament with eight family members, including his son and daughter who did not make it to the final round. Mr. Tong was
awarded US$150,000 for second place.

Third-place winner Lam Ho-Lam is a student from Hong Kong. The 22 year-old university student is the youngest among the
top four players. He graduated from the Faculty of History at Hong Kong University, and is studying education at the Chinese
University in Hong Kong at the moment. He wants to be a teacher, and is not worried about having a negative image in the
eyes of his future students, when they find out he had participated in a mahjong tournament. Today, his friends from Hong Kong
came to cheer for him and he took home US$80,000.

The 52 year-old Shigeru Aono is an entertainment industry researcher from Japan. He has been playing mahjong for 35 years,
and had participated in different mahjong competitions in mainland China. With his solid experience in mahjong tournaments,
he had been leading in a few rounds, but lost many points as a discarder during the last few hands of the final round. He
settled in the fourth place and won US$50,000.

Yu Xiao-ping, Taiwanese celebrity and second-runner up of the 2007 World Series, battled alone at the tournament today. Both
her mother and grandmother were eliminated from the game earlier, but they still came to support her. Miss Yu dropped from
the fourth position at the fifth round to the eighth position at the seventh round. Although she could not make her way to the
final round, she still won US$15,000. After the play, she said she was very jealous of the Japanese players since their
mahjong skills were so good.

Hong Kong players continued to dominate the World Series this year, followed by players from Taiwan and Japan. The average
scores for this year were higher than last year’s, while the tournament duration was relatively shorter, so the players were
less exhausted. Most of the players thought that the World Series provided them with a precious opportunity to play mahjong
with people from different countries. World Mahjong Limited, founder of the World Series, said the second year was more
successful than the first year, and hoped to have more players from different countries joining next year.

The World Series of Mahjong was launched by World Mahjong Limited in 2006, and the tournament gathers top mahjong
players from all over the world to vie for the enviable title of “World Mahjong Champion” and the biggest prize money - US$
1.0 million - in the history of mahjong. Details about the event – registration, rules and regulations, etc – are available on the
official website www.world-series-mahjong.com.

Players from Greater China shine at the Second World Series of Mahjong

(Macau – September 20, 2008) The Second World Series of Mahjong commenced with the first round yesterday at the Wynn
Macau. The tournament continued today from the second to the fourth round. There were 302 players from 15 countries started
the play yesterday, and remained with 256 players from 12 countries at the start of today. Majority of the players come from
Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan, competing for the world champion title.

There were two groups for round one yesterday. An opening ceremony was held before each group started, and officiated by
John Hardyment, CEO of World Mahjong Limited, and the four winners from last year. Attending celebrities included Hong Kong
actor Gregory Rivers, Taiwanese famous TV host Hsu Nei-Lin and celebrity Yu Xiao-Ping who was also last year's second
runner-up. This year, Yu participated with her mother and her 82-year-old grandma, who was her mahjong tutor and the oldest
player in the tournament this year.

All of last year’s winners made their way to the second round today. At the beginning of the second round, Hui Chung-Lai,
champion from last year, needed some luck to get beyond his current 148th position. He said that players had already studied
the World Series Rules thoroughly, since the rules had been widely promoted after last year's tournament. In addition, the
players he battled with were either big winners or big losers. Therefore, he could not predict their strategies and ended up with
0 score and a 148th ranking. Although he could not enter the third round, he hoped that Hong Kong players could continue to
be the champion this year. This is the same case for Lisa Lau Lai-Fun, the first runner-up from last year. Today she ended up
with 12.5 scores and a 139th ranking, and could not proceed to round three. In the contrary, Yu Xiao-Ping was very successful
today and made her way to the fifth round tomorrow with a 23rd ranking. She put her "lucky" sunflower on her sexy. Her mother
and grandma were eliminated from the play yesterday and today respectively. Last year's third runner-up, Tse Chi-Chung,
could also proceed to the fourth round, but got eliminated at the end with a 46th ranking.

Hong Kong player Jackie Chan today started with a 1st ranking, barely made to the fourth round, ended up in the 54th position
and could not proceed to the fifth round tomorrow. There were a few players who came late today, including Yu Xiao-Ping, due
to mistakes or having rest. As a result, their scores had been deducted. A Hong Kong player with a 11th ranking almost got
disqualified for being late. Lastly, the average scores have been rising from 37.30 for round two to 47.54 for round four.

The tournament will finish tomorrow and an Awards Ceremony will be held. The champion will receive US$ 500,000 prize
money, as well as a “world champion necklace”. The unique HK$150,000 necklace is designed and 100% handmade by
Hong Kong luxury brand STEELASTEELO. The mahjong pendant is in 3D shape with 8 hearts 8 arrows GRADE A quality CZ
stones from Russia set on top surface, and engraved with “CHAMPION 2008 WORLD SERIES OF MAHJONG” on backside.

Hot Players for the Second World Series of Mahjong

(Hong Kong – September 11th, 2008) The second-annual World Series of Mahjong will be held at the Wynn Macau from
Sept 19th to the 21st this year. At the moment, there are more than 300 players coming from 15 countries, including
Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, England, United States, Denmark, Australia and Canada who have
registered for the tournament. Although it is difficult to say who will shine at this year’s tournament, last year’s event
showed that the world’s best players will certainly have the upper hand. Below are some of the hottest players coming
this year.

In Hong Kong, Hui Chung-Lai was the champion of the 2007 World Series of Mahjong. He took home 4 million Hong Kong
dollars last year and became the “King of Mahjong” in Hong Kong. Having more than 50 years of experience in playing
mahjong, he is currently enjoying his retired life and plays mahjong with friends, whom regard him as a reputable mahjong
teacher and games expert. His winning tip for this year is to avoid being influenced by other players and simply concentrate
on his own strategy. He is joined by Lisa Lau Lai-fun, who was the first runner-up last year. She won $1.17 million
Hong Kong dollars. From watching her parents play when she was a child, she has developed a strong interest in mahjong.
This year, she is returning to the tournament with her son. Lately she’s been spending a lot of time reviewing the World
Series of Mahjong Rules and hopes to perform even better than last year. Also from Hong Kong is Tse Chi-Chung who was
the forth runner-up of last year. He is currently an accountant and has been playing mahjong for more than 20 years.
Knowing that some of his friends are joining the tournament this year, he often practices the rules and technique with
them, in order to improve his skills.

There are also a few interesting individuals who are officially invited to attend the second World Series. Ross Lai is
the chairman of the Public Relations Association of Hong Kong who has been playing mahjong for 30 years. He
regards mahjong as one of China’s major cultural assets, and an enticing intellectual game. Since the 1980s, he has
been conducting research into Hong Kong’s mahjong clubs, particularly the development of their customer service
quality. As a frequent visitor to mahjong clubs, he deeply cares that people have respect for the game.

Another invited player Angelina Chan is the founder of the Hong Kong accessory brand "Steela & Steelo”, which received"
the“Hong Kong Best Brand” award from Capital Magazine. Her unique stainless steel products are inspired by children’s
colors and bring back the childhood sense of joy to adults. Over the last few years she has been promoting her brand in
Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and even as far as Mexico, and maintaining the consistency of Hong Kong
made products. Angelina has been playing mahjong for over 20 years. Her desire for challenges has contributed to her
success in playing mahjong. To her, the most entertaining and thrilling aspect of mahjong is the differences in reality and
her own predictions on the mahjong table.

Antony Chum is another invited player from Hong Kong as well. He is an architecture computer aid design consultant who
has previously participated in various sports competitions on behalf of Hong Kong, such as the “Asia Miles Action Asia
Challenge”, “Motorola Action Asia Hong Kong Off Road Triathlon Race” and “Hong Kong Mountain Bike Race”. His
interest in mahjong originates from his passion for sports, and his solid experience in large-scale sports events gives
him confidence in competing in international mahjong tournaments.

Antony has been playing mahjong for more than 10 years, and regards the game as a mental challenge, much like the
physical one he experiences in his sporting competitions. He is currently practicing mahjong online and studying the
World Series Rules busily, with the hope to achieve a good result in the tournament.

Canada will be represented this year by Jim Kwong who was the champion of the second-annual Mahjong Charity Open
at the River Rock Casino Resort in Canada. He has been playing mahjong for 30 years and devoting himself to charitable
acts. Over the years he has been helping the local cancer-prevention asssociations on different fundraising projects.
Before settling in Vancouver, he frequently played mahjong with his friends in Hong Kong. He is both excited and nervous
about the upcoming World Series, since he has never played mahjong for such a long duration of time. He strongly believes
that his general luck will affect his performance on the mahjong table, and hopes to reduce the chance of discards in the tournament.

Jenn Barr is a professional mahjong player in Japan was born in Seattle. She has lived in Tokyo for 7 years now, and
started playing mahjong 4 years ago. Her favorite hands are three similar runs and win-on added quad. In 2006, she
joined the Japan Professional Mahjong League as a primary member and established the ReachMahjong.com website
for providing first-hand news to mahjong fans. Last year she placed 114th in the World Series of Mahjong. This year, she
works as rules consultant for the inaugural Riichi European Championship (EMA Riichi Rules). She always says that
mahjong is her whole life, and loves the feel of mahjong tiles. Her most memorable experience from the World Series
was the ambience at the mahjong tables.

Garthe Nelson is also a professional mahjong player living in Japan. He was born in United States and has been living
in Japan for 10 years. He has played mahjong for 9 years and his favorite mahjong hands are concealed triples (The
hand contains four concealed triplets or concealed kong) and full straight (A “123” sequence, a “456” sequence and a
“789” sequence, all in the same suit). In 2006, He has joined the Japan Professional Mahjong League and the ReachMahjong.com
website. Next year, his talent drove him up to the JPML Champions League Best 16 and become the Individual and
Team Champions. He was also placed 7th in Riichi European Championship this year. You will also find Garthe
appearing in Konami’s Mahjong Fight Club video game as well.

Donald Wong from Australia was first introduced to mahjong by his grandmother at a mere age of 12. Playing regularly
after school with his cousins and grandma, he grew to love the game and began to develop different skills and techniques.
He also believes that playing mahjong is a form of sport and that one should develop good sportsmanship during any
game. Nowadays Donald plays mahjong regularly with his schoolmates and work colleagues. He has also met many new
friends over the mahjong table at the Australian season games which were held all over Sydney this year. He finds that
playing mahjong helps to keep his mind active and sane.

Niels Hansen from Denmark made a notable achievement at the first World Series of Mahjong, placing sixth, and reaching
the final two tables before being eliminated on the last day of competition. He has been living in Asia for about 30 years
where he works in management positions and is currently the CEO of a major container terminal company. With 20 years
of experience in mahjong, he first picked up the interest in 1979 when he worked in Taiwan. He thinks that he needs luck
for achieving the same result as last year’s, since there are so many mahjong professionals participating in the tournament
this year.

Manlee Wan from the United Kingdom has been studying poker probability, economics and psychology since childhood.
Having participated in numerous professional poker tournaments around the world, he has total winnings of more than
US $ 500,000 from the poker table, which means on average he wins US$230 per hour, which is an impressive
achievement for a poker player. He strongly believes that knowledge about mahjong and mathematical probability, and
understanding on the competitors’ psychological states are the keys to winning. He also thinks that mahjong and poker
have many similarities. With his solid experience in poker and last year’s experience in the World Series of Mahjong, he
is very confident to win some prize money at this year’s event.

The reputable Chinese mahjong player Sung Ping has been actively participating in local and international mahjong
competitions for 10 year. She has won several national mahjong tournaments in China. In 2006, with her experience in
mahjong theory and live tournaments, she was invited to be the spokesperson for a mahjong program at CCTV. She was
responsible for answering enquiries and sharing her experience in playing mahjong, and was impressed by the huge
response from the TV audience. Her performance at last year’s World Series was highly praised by her fans and by the
other players. She performed as a genuine mahjong master and made her way into the top 32. Many people still recall
how she defeated Taiwanese Star Nei Ge and settled for the 17th place. What she values most from the World Series is
the opportunity to compete against different mahjong players from all over the world.

Representing Taiwan are TV stars Hsu Nai Lin (Nei Ge) and Pan Hui-Ru, who are the hosts of a popular mahjong TV game
show on MUCH-TV. Both of them love playing mahjong and have solid experience in hosting mahjong TV shows. Although
Nei Ge was defeated by China’s Sung Ping last year and settled for 20th place, other players and his friends were all proud
of his performance. He and Sung Ping have made a commitment to battle each other again at this year’s tournament. His
partner Pan Hui-Ru comes from a famous girls group in Taiwan. She has been feeling down for not attending the first World
Series last year, so she highly treasures the opportunity to join this year. In addition to these two popular TV hosts, there are
four hot Taiwan stars joining the tournament this year as well. They have defeated other players from the World Series of
Mahjong Taiwan Celebrity Game on MUCH-TV to qualify for the World Series main event in Macau. They are sexy mahjong
stars Kung Ming Jie and Zhang Ben Yu; Chen Guan Lin, the male lead in many popular TV dramas, and Zhao Hong Gao,
member of a Taiwanese girl group called “Seven Flowers”.

Being the third-runner up in the first World Series of Mahjong and having taken home HK$620,000, Yu Xiao-Ping has been
the focus of media attention and is being called the “Taiwanese Mahjong Diva”. She was invited to be the spokesperson for
the second World Series of Mahjong Taiwan Qualifying Tour. Yu is the daughter of Taiwanese Stars Yu Tian and Li Ya-Ping,
and learned her mahjong skills from her grandma. This year, herself, her mother and her grandmother are going to
participate in the World Series, which is definitely going to be an exciting “family mahjong match”. Yu will be bringing her
previous “good luck charms” for playing mahjong, which are two powerful traditional Chinese mythical creatures.

The World Series of Mahjong was launched by World Mahjong Limited in 2006, and the tournament gathers top mahjong

Following In Her Father’s Footsteps, Yu Makes Full Commitment to Mahjong and Acting

(30 January 2008, Taipei)Taiwanese “Mahjong Diva” Yu Xiao-Ping, daughter of Yu Tian, the newly-elected legislator
and veteran of Taiwan’s entertainment industry, will remain a formidable presence in the mahjong field this year. She is
currently the sole spokesperson for the Taiwan satellite of the second annual World Series of Mahjong, and scheduled to
attend the “Remy Taiwan Mahjong Tour”, sponsored by the world renowned Cognac Remy Martin. Yu Xiao-Ping, who has all
along hailed her father as her idol and role model, has learnt from her father how to make a determined and sustained effort
to achieve her goal in the entertainment field.

“Father has, over the years, made great contributions to the entertainment industry here. He has helped artistes to fight for
their rights, without considering any personal reward for himself. During his election campaign, he and my mother went
everywhere to solicit votes, on top of his work as a performing artiste. Indeed it seems that he has superhuman strength and
endurance!”

Yu hoped that she could display the same measure of determination as his father, “Through endorsing the ‘Remy Taiwan
Mahjong Tour’, I hope to promote the game of mahjong to all of Taiwan and even the world. In fact, mahjong will no longer
be just a leisure pastime among the Chinese. In fact, I hope to make it an Olympic sport some day!”

Yu also wished to find her true love at the mahjong table while promoting the “Remy Taiwan Mahjong Tour”. “Mahjong is a
game that requires intelligence and the harmony of body, mind and soul. It requires total concentration and logical deduction.
A true winner at the mahjong table will naturally display his charm. I do hope to be able to find my true love in the world of
Mahjong! However, he can’t win over me.” All potential Prince Charmings for the Mahjong Diva could get a chance to meet
her in person by purchasing Remy Martin products in Taiwan.

As Chinese New Year is fast approaching, the Yu family is going to enjoy mahjong together at home, “Every time, my brother
will do the set-up for the game, while my sister will always be the one to lose! My grandma will be the one to wait anxiously
for the game to start.” She also has five interesting tips for mahjong players:

1. Prevent any one from reading books behind your back!
2. Don’t let others pat your back!

World Series of Mahjong to be Held Again in Macau in September 2008

(December 5, 2007 - Macau)World Mahjong Limited (“WML”) today announced that the second annual World Series
of Mahjong will be held again at the prestigious Wynn Macau from September 19 to 21, 2008, following the huge success
of the first tournament held in June of this year. The minimum total prize money for next year’s tournament will again be
US$1 million and continue to be the highest prize money in the history of mahjong tournaments. WML is optimistic that
participants in next year’s tournament will far outnumber those of this year, as mahjong lovers around the world will be
watching this “battle of the year” with great interest and anticipation.

While the main event of the second World Series of Mahjong will be held in September 2008, several official qualifying
rounds will be held in Canada, Europe, Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong starting in early 2008. The winners in these
rounds will be eligible for the 3-day main event where they will compete with players from other parts of the world.
Through organizing these qualifying rounds in different parts of the world, WML aims to promote to the world this healthy
sport that demands good memory, accurate calculation, psychological maneuvering and strategic thinking. Details about
the qualifying rounds will be announced in due course.

Miss Yu Xiao Ping, second runner-up in the 2007 World Series of Mahjong, is the daughter to the Taiwanese artiste
nicknamed “Big Brother of Taiwan”. Since her victory in the Series, her reputation and level of exposure continued to rise,
as news stories about her success continued to be run in Taiwan for a full month following the June tournament in Macau.
She noted happily that she has accepted WML’s invitation to be the spokesperson for the Taiwan qualifying tour in the
second Series, which will be proudly sponsored by Remy Martin. Miss Yu will join hands with Remy Martin to promote the
“Remy Taiwan Mahjong Tour” with an aim to promoting the game of mahjong all over Taiwan.

Indeed, there is much in common between Remy Martin and the World Series of Mahjong. Remy Martin, with its history
spanning three centuries, is a top brand of Cognac Brandy. This supremacy well complements the unrivalled status of
the World Series of Mahjong in the mahjong world. The “Remy Taiwan Mahjong Tour” is set to bring to mahjong experts
in Taiwan a great opportunity to play this enjoyable game to their heart’s content.
